The 7th International Conference on Silicate Materials "BaltSilica 2016"

The BaltSilica conference has become a forum where researchers worldwide can meet, present their work, explain their results and discuss the encountered scientific and technical problems of theoretical & applied sciences based on silicate materials. The host of BaltSilica 2016 conference is the Department of Silicate Technology of Kaunas University of Technology

About 7th International Conference on Silicate Materials "BaltSilica 2016"

The series of Baltic conferences on silicate materials had started since 2004 and became a tradition: the first conference was held in 2004, Riga, Latvia; next was in 2005, Kaunas, Lithuania; 2007 – Riga; 2009 – Kaunas; 2011 – Riga and 2014 – Poznan, Poland.

Every BaltSilica conference was attended by around of 50 participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Ukraine and Russia. For this reason, the organizers of the conference invite scientists, technologists and industry managers to share ideas, to present latest research results, to sum up achievements in the development of new technologies and materials, to strengthen and find new cooperation fields.

The conference is organized by Riga Technical University, Kaunas University of Technology and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
