Graduation Ceremony this Friday

This Friday, 23 June, 12 noon at Žalgiris Arena more than 2 thousand of Kaunas University of Technology graduates will be awarded their diplomas. 94 class of KTU bachelors, masters and doctors will say good-bye to their Alma Mater. The live translation from the event will be broadcasted on Facebook.

2 102 students are graduating from KTU this June. Among them – 1 316 bachelors, 740 masters, 15 doctors of science and 31 non-degree studies graduates. The diplomas (degree certificates) will be awarded to 103 international students.

The organisers of the event promise the spectacular show full of surprises: a joint musical performance of a legendary group and one of the best Lithuanian orchestras, a concert by one of the most charismatic pop-divas in the country and many more.

The graduates, their guests and all the academic community will be greeted by the University Rector Petras Baršauskas, KTU Alumni Association President Arūnas Laurinaitis, President of KTU Student Union Lukas Kijauskas, entrepreneur Darius Vaičiulis, the representatives of the city and the State.

The diploma award ceremony will start at 1.20pm simultaneously on the 9 separate stages. The graduates will be greeted by their faculty deans and heads of departments. The PhD diplomas will be awarded on the main stage of the Arena.

Also, the University has prepared a surprise for those willing to celebrate their graduation in Kaunas centre and old town cafes and restaurants. If you are willing to celebrate at Grill London (Vilniaus g. 13; Laisvės al. 72), Republic (Laisvės al. 57; Vilniaus g. 13; Vilniaus g. 10), Miesto sodas (Laisvės al. 93), Charlie Pizza (Laisvės al. 68), Casa Della Pasta (Laisvės al. 27), Pas Romano Paolo Bella Italia (S. Daukanto g. 14) or Višta Puode (S. Daukanto g. 23), please give them a ring and inform that you are from KTU.
