Oysters, Cinema and Art – the Last Autumn Weekend in Kaunas

As Christmas season with the gift rush and a string of celebrations is approaching, take a chance to enjoy the last calm weekend of autumn. Go to cinema, enjoy art and do not forget to fill your stomach with delicious food.

This weekend, the European Film Forum SCANORAMA, one of the most distinctive cultural events in Lithuania, is still in Kaunas. Take a chance to see the most popular films of the festival (tickets are still available, we checked) and charge your brain and soul with Nordic vibe.

This is also the last weekend for Kaunas Biennial. If you haven't done it yet, visit the three exhibitions at Kaunas Picture Gallery, check the main exhibition across the city. The HQ map of the Biennial can be collected from the Picture Gallery, checked online here or downloaded here.

Bored of culture? Dive in food. 23–26 November, dozens of bars and restaurants all around Lithuania join the Lithuanian oyster festival. Last year, 39 restaurants participated in the festival and more than 21 thousand oysters were opened during the weekend.
